Podcasts???

I don't know if any of you have listened to the new radio like podcasts on itunes but they are great. I just wanted to throw this out there but I think someone should have a weekly podcast about cedar point or the amusement park industry in general. I know I would be downloading them every week. It is free to download and free to start up as long as you have a website that can run an audio feed to itunes. Hope someone will do this!

A bunch of Cedar Point geeks gushing for half an hour about the park. That's riveting audio!

I know there is one of them that I listen to, its In the Loop from Thrill Network. I like it, it keeps you updated with the amusement park industry.

There is a really Great one Coasterradio.com. It is available through iTunes just search "Coaster". I was talked about on this weeks show. Anyway it is a really great show but is more opinion then hard core news.

These geeks DO keep sites like PB and CB running, though.

Coaster Radio is a good show, but the folks who run it all work in media so they have an advantage over most podcasters.

A *real* podcast is recorded by people who don't have access to high-end recording equipment. The spirit of podcasting is folks having their voices heard when they normally couldn't.

That being said... I really think I should actually *launch* my podcast that I've been planning with a buddy since November...

yeah, you should. I finally found the coasterradio.com one. That one is pretty cool. All they do though is talk about east coast stuff because that's where they broadcast from. I'm trying to get them to talk about cp and the rest of the amusement world lol.
