Small Crowds

It seems as if in every trip report there are small crowds and to that person they seem small for that time of year. Is this a bad sign for CP? To me this could be very bad or just its too soon to tell. Just wondering what some of your thoughts are.

I don't think it's anything to worry about. The "busy summer season" just started over the Fourth, so you shouldn't expect massive crowds any time before that. I've been 4 times this season and the park, while not packed, was plenty busy.

That's weird... I went June 29, and in my 5 years of going (usually mid August) i have NEVER seen the midways that empty. But, look at the bright side. Now the summer season is starting, I hope the crowds will be larger. But, look at it this way: small crowds=minimal lines. You cant beat that.

June 29th will always seem empty compared to mid-August. The big crowds should start showing up this week and it doesn't let up until after about the third week in August.

July and August are always more crowded, all the schools are out, family vacations etc. It's safe to say Memorial day starts the summer but the 4th starts the crowds, and long lines, dare I say that sometime Gemini will have a wait of more than 15-20 mins on some Saturdays.
I do believe the days of walk ons have ended until school is back in session.
