$43 for a ticket in 2001

Anyone want to bet me that CP will charge at least $43 a head in 2001?

Right now it all depends. Remember the price may barely increase if they have no major changes. But, if we are to expect another coaster most likely the cost will drastically rise. I myself never pay the regular gate fee. Most people get season passes, or buy tickets from cheaper sources.

My guess is $40 with or without a new coaster.

Well, I also heard the price will again rise pretty good next year to around 42 bucks. New coaster maybe? Doubt people will pay more than the origional price unless there is a new coaster. HUMMMM!!!!! ;)

Wow, the season isn't even a month old and already we have "price" predictions for 2001. I can guarantee you, CP hasn't begun to start the pricing structure for 2001.

$38.00 bucks is high enough. I and all of you would probably pay $50 and higher to get in, but a lot of people are turning away from major theme parks because of the cost. I don't even want to think what admission will be in the coming years.

Its either Disney World or IOA.

I live in Jacksonville. The orlando parks (and BGT) all cost $46 + tax for one day. At disney this means visiting only one "section" (magic kingdom, epcot, animal kingdom, etc). At universal it's the same thing. Your $50 gets you into either IOA or Universal Studios, not both. You haven't felt ripped off until you've paid almost $50 to go into IOA and ride their 21 attractions. CP with 68 rides would still be a much better deal even if they raised it $50. That's just what it costs to visit the great parks now.
