Sales tax on season passes?

Possibly a stupid question, but there is sales tax charged on the season passes right? If so, how much is sales tax in Sandusky?

I don't think there is, actually.

If there is, I believe its 5 or 7%. I forget which.

Unless I'm mistaken, Cedar Point no longer includes sales tax in their published prices.

I believe Erie County's sales tax is 6.75%, but could be mistaken.

I paid listed price for my pass. I didn't pay more than what was listed on the wall.

I had bought my pass last season (October), but I went back to the website because I feel if they charge tax, they should state, "plus tax". It doesn't. Quote from the CP season pass website;

"A handling fee will be charged for standard delivery on each mail or fax order."

Didn't see "Prices do not include tax".

On the print at home tickets it states, quote,

"Subtotal may not include shipping or tax"

There is a $2.50 charge for a Print@Home[url][url] Ticket

So why would they charge tax on tickets (possibly) and not on the season pass? Good question!

We *could* be smart little coaster dorks and just call the park... but I"m too lazy, personally. ;)
