Swedish Amusment Park

Trent

Hey Everyone,

While I was surfing the web I came across the website of an amusement park in Sweden. The name of the park is Liseberg Amusement Park. For the 2005 season, they have put in a coaster called Kanonen. It looks much like the TTD with loops and hills. Their website is www.liseberg.se.

I thought it really interesting. Maybe, (I don't wan't to start a rumor) CP will put in a coaster like the Kanonen.

I hope not. As cool as that looks, we don't need another rocket/launched coaster. I hope they return to installing traditional style coasters.

I agree, I prefer the traditional MF/Magnum type of coaster.

I actually like launch coasters better, but I would also like a new flying/floorless coaster.

CP already has a coaster like Kanonen. It's called Dragster. Just no loop.

Yea that does look pretty cool. Think they could put a really really tall loop in on the way back on TTD? Since it is moving so fast, brakes would be a killer so it would have to be really tall. Am i correct? and do you think they would so something like that?

The world looks better at 420 feet in the air... first ride May 14th, 2005

only 997 laps left on MF..

So i resurrect dead post... is that a bad thing?

I don't think they would add something to a ride that is already complete and is in its third season of operation.

We'll miss you MrScott and Pete

Thanks for the .com version for the website.

The top hat is pretty nifty.

Interesting thing about Kanonen is that it seems to use a zero car, like B&M, instead of the pivoting axle in front like other Intamins.

I'd rather be in my boat with a drink on the rocks,
than in the drink with a boat on the rocks.
