How was Coastermania?

O.K. you fortunate ones. Tell us about your day at CP on Coastermania Day. What is working right, what didn't feel right, what to stay away from and what to do. My eyes will be glued to this site all weekend for your comments because.............4 days till MF!!!

Coaster mania was AWSOME!!!!!!! Night ERT on Mantis was SWEEEEEET (NO TRIMS!!!!! YEA!!!) !!! Magnum was incredable without the trims before the turnaround on. You go so freiking fast over the cammel humps its to cool. MF was cool in the morning, people were stoked! Raptor was good, but some of the people were kind of boring, we got some of the people excited and yelling. On mantis for the ERT we were on the 1st car of the 1st train that came in yelling and screaming without the op asking how our ride was, we got people yelling all the way up the lift. so basicly what I'm saying...IT WAS AWWWWWSSSSOOOOOMMMEEE!!!!

Ah they had the trims on mantis (me and luvraptor can tell you that on night ERT all 12 times. But there were no trims on magnum. try the trip report section jetz. :)

The reason that the the trims were open on magnum was because of the wind.

Coastermania was great. 18 hours with some wonderful people from all over the country with one common bond. And a night ride in the front seat on MF with my son that we will not forget - money can't buy a memory like that. (Sounds like a Master Card ad!)

I've been coming to Cedar Point since 1972 and I can honestly say that, for me personally, this was the best day I have ever had there.

Windy night rides on Magnum with the trims open can't compare with any ride during the day. It was AWESOME! I yelled so much on it and MF that I have lost my voice. Raptor was cool with walk-ons. MF was cool in the morning-not as good as night. Mantis is cool at night too.
