"America's Roller Coast" has been around for a long time, and I have a feeling that it is not going anywhere soon. That as been a slogan for as long as I can remember. There are alot of additional slogans too, such as:
"What's Life If You Never Get To The Point?"
"Cedar Point-- Real Thrills"
"On Top Of The World In Sandusky, Ohio"
and MANY, MANY more. "The Number One and Only Cedar Point" is just another, and will come and go like any other. If you notice, Cedar Point usually doesn't use "America's Roller Coast" in their ads, but in the ride spiels, they always use "America's Roller Coast" or "America's Rock And Roller Coast".
To answer your second question:
Sure, it is VERY possible that PKI will get two new Roller Coasters for 2001-2002, but who here can tell me FOR SURE that Cedar Point won't? Cedar Point takes a lot of pride in its world records, and I don't think they will give them up so easily.
