maXair Height Restrictions

Doug Rowe

It's probably a bit early in the season to be asking this quesiton, but.....

Anyone know details on whether maXair will have a maximum height restriction (a la Delerium @ PKI)? On CP's ride information page, the minimum is listed at 52 inches, but no mention of a maximum.

If no one knows of a maximum height policy @ CP, the natural question would be: is maXair using the same guest loading/floor dropping system as Delerium? If the systems are identical, strange the differences in riding policies for the same ride.....

I think Delirium is like 6'5".

Delirium is 6'4". I'd say maXair would be the same, although I hope not. Delirium is my favorite ride at the park although I'm too tall to ride it. Weird they didn't check on media day, but a couple weeks later I was told no.

If Delirium is 6' 4" I wouldn't be suprised if Cedar Point went slightly more restrictive than the manufacturer's recommended maXheight and said 6' 3".

Or, maybe the floor actually goes lower, creating slightly more clearance? It would be an idea.

I'd be cutting it pretty close if they did 6' 3"! ;) 6' 4" really isn't that tall. But then again, some of the people that can't ride MF really aren't that big.

i think it sucks that they have a height retricrtion, i mean just because i am 6'6. Does anyone know why???

Because you won't fit in the restraints properly?
