I was looking around on the Geauga Lake website today and noticed that they have taken Villian off thier list of coasters to re-track.The link is still on the bottom of the page but I was unable to connect with it. I also noticed that Thunderhawk will be recieving a new coat of different colored paint for the 2005 season.

Hmmm, I wonder what color it will be.

what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

I took a ride up to the park today to see how the progress was coming. Raging Wolf Bobs was cool to see. Part of the ride was missing! After the first turn the track just stopped for a thirty foot section or so and workers were working on the bottom of the first hill. Lots of new wood laying up on the ride. On the crest of thunderhawk the support was a tanish type color. I don't know if this is the new support color of if it was a primer.

I noticed that also but I did not see them working on Dominator. On the map they have RRB as natural wood color and I assume it will have a new coat of white. Guess we'll see in 2 months!!

Well it really doesnt need track work, it just needs new trains. I think orange and yellow are good colors for Thunderhawk.

Villian will not be getting a retracking this offseason. The project has been put on hold. That is why the listing has been taken off the website.

I would give you the source of my info except it's late and I can't remember. I want to say that the subject came up at one of this winter's coaster events(no-coaster, east-coaster,ect). I'm sure someone here can confirm the source for me.

I'm a bit iffy about the new colors of Thunderhawk. I really think that Blue and Red fit the name a lot better.

Maybe I will change my mind after the paint job is complete.

CF wants to give their own colors, orange and yellow, for Thunderhawk. I really think that blue and red fits Six Flags a lot better.

I drove by the park yesterday on the way to Nelson's Ledges and they have started painting the lift hill. It looked a lot better than I thought it would and I'm anxious about seeing the entire ride done. I also hope that the trains are the redone as well to match the new color scheme.

I really hope they paint other rides too. I think Steel Venom needed a color change the most.

Nope. Check the 2005 map (now posted on the park's website). Steel Venom looks like the supports will be teal as well as the station, and what's up with RWB/Big Dipper?
