I miss this part of the park. It was a nice break from the rides. My fondest memory was seeing the retired circus lion these had during their final seasons at the park.

Jungle larry's was awesome. I miss the panthers and the reptiles. I still like the petting farm too though. I miss my harry little chicken buddy that used to be there though.

I wonder what happend to him? I probably don't want to know.

You mean Jungle Larrys' animal torture center? I enjoyed the big black kitty though!

Sorry I dug this topic back up, but didn't want to start a new thread. This pic is really interesting, showing the land that Jungle Larry once occupied. Before Power Tower, and with the Mantis paint slightly faded, circa 1997:

The only thing that remains of jungle larrys is the gift shop next to power tower. I remember there used to be an old jeep and wooden porch off the midway as well.

I always wonderd how the animals put up with all the noise from corkscrew.

what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Wow! The park looks so different in that picture, so many trees, and the lagoon goes out under Corkscrew!!

Spent many hours in there over the years. There's a new site being developed at www.junglelarry.com. And yes, the park definitely seems louder these days. Even Frontier Trail. That being said, going to the Point is still one of my favorite things. Thank goodness my daughter likes coasters!
