Castaway Bay Evacuated

MrScott

I suppose the ones who requested to go to the hospital will be meeting with lawyers soon (if they already haven't).

It sounds like someone is going to lose their job.

? Why, because the chlorine levels were found to be normal?

gosh what a terrible employee.

S2Kster

Yeah, I don't understand the problem. Someone had a bad smell and started a big chaotic mess about the chlorine levels being high. Doesn't sound like anyone did anything wrong.

Sounds like someone really over-reacted.

When I was there last week you couldn't even get a whiff of chlorine. I'm sure this incident wasn't nearly as strong as the smell you get at most indoor pools, and that hasn't killed anybody yet. Just people and the media overreacting,

Wouldn't the hospital have had to have found something wrong with these people for a lawyer visit to do them any good?

Chlorine levels were found to be normal, so good luck to any lawyer thinks he can prove some wrong doing.

Yeah, but the lawyers will prove that something was wrong with them. They'll prove red eye or swimmers ear. I bet when those people were told to exit they heard doller signs in their water-logged ears.

Any indoor facility like this will have a strong chlorine smell, due to the building containing the fumes. I don't understand why people over-reacted the way they did....

Cedar Point rocks my socks.

Why not sue?........Its the american way.

what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

S2Kster

Yeah - Get the same lawyer that's helping the kids who are sueing for "emotional damage" from the Dragster incident last summer ;)

At least those on TTD were Injured, even if minimally.

I think somone should be charged because of this incident just as someone who would yell FIRE! in a theater.

Its something tied to cedar point so of course the media has to blow it way out of perspective.

Oy. You would all be complaining that someone didn't do their job if an evacuation was necessary and they did not evacuate. Better safe than sorry.

It was in the Sandusky Register today. After reading the article it seemed that the paper blew it way out of proportion. Granted I wasn't there so I don't know the whole story, but it seemed the paper took it a lot more serious than it actually was, surprise there.
