Does anyone know where I can find good movies of Cedar Point, and a POV of Millennium Force or Top Thrill Dragster?

I am suffering from the off season I need something.

Speaking of Cedar Point and movies, does anyone know what ever came of the movie shot there last season, Close Encounters of the Third Kind?

Anonymous, it came out on dvd, because i bought it. Its quite possibly the worst job of movie making ive ever seen. This movie makes "dude, wheres my car?" or "Kung Pow: Enter The Fist" look like 'Film of the Year' award winners.

Basically, if you arent 100% positive that you are in it somewhere, theres no use in bothering.

So how does Cedar Point fit into the movie?

Yes, you can get good POV movies of MF and Dragster from the roller coasters of CP DVD.

Or, just go to http://cedarpoint.com and watch their videos.

I just looked at that website www.ce4kthemovie.com and OMG, I could not stop laughing. The alien doesn't have to go very far to reach the shoreline at CP!

Roller Coasters of Cedar Point DVD has been out of stock since December.

I've been trying to buy it for the past couple of months.

Is a good portion of the movie filmed at Cedar Point? Like is it worth renting?

You won't be able to rent it; only buy it, through paypal. It was below low budget.

Thats the same reason i have it, i walk right in front of the camera as the alien comes running into the park and spews the "acid" (aka nickelodeon slime they pumped through a tube because their pressure washer didnt work...)

Did you guys read about the plans for the sequel? What a hoot, I hope they film this! Martians getting stoned on cotton candy and ultimately ending up as Dick Kinzel's valets. I was rolling on the floor just reading the description.

So were can you buy the movie.

The Akron Summit county library has many films about older parks that have closed. I know they have Euclid Beach and Chippewa Lake. They also have films about a variety of parks in which Cedar Point is in. Most are pretty good!!
