I was wondering if anyone but me has ever heard this song by the group "the Dirtbombs." I'ts kind of a story about a guy who chases a girl around Cedar Point in 1976 and mentions a lot about the park, such as the Corkscrew. Anyone heard it? ANd is there some kind of story behind it, like did they perform at the park. (I downloaded it but some people dont want to pay 99 cents to download it, or download it for free so i really dont have a link, as its not a popular song) I just found this song interesting and I figured I would ask the experts if they had any more information on it :)
The Dirtbombs are apparently a local band from Chicago.
The song mentions nothing about Cedar Point except for pinball and "the Corkscrew line."
It's not exactly a family friendly song. It talks about "hot new teenage breasts" and asking a "honey if she'll play a pinball game with me."
To top it all off, it's not even a very good song.
Yeah thats what I did too, I typed Cedar Point into limewire, only I was looking for the new song. Come on, Get on to the fun or whatever its called but I didnt find it. (If anyone has it and would send it to me, please leave me a PM... puppy face :( ) Actually I kind of like the Cedar Point 76 song

I have to agree with Walt here. Remember, that song was part of a video that was originally posted on the Cedar Point website for anyone to view for free. While that doesn't mean anyone can distribute it, I highly doubt they could sue anyone for just having it considering they made it publicly available. *** Edited 1/4/2005 7:32:37 PM UTC by Coasterfan***
