Trademarks only apply to like products, in most cases, especially if it's a generic name (like a bug). It would be trademark infringement for another park to build a coaster named Mantis, but I could sell a hair dryer called Mantis and it would be OK.

I had an idea for Mantis this season, and i thought it would work pretty good. Now, all of you who rode Mantis know its platform is entirely over a small pond. Now, if someone were to go out and get a lifelike dummy, dress it like a regular guest, and then one day when guests were particularly annoying, just have someone toss it over the side of the platform into the water, and yell out "Next time, pay attention to what we say!!!"...that would be great..probably kill the line for a bit too, lol!
