Craziest thing

I've looked through all of the posts, and haven't seen a thread geared towards this topic: The craziest things you've seen fly out and off of people on the ride? I know there's a guard sheet of metal to block this stuff, but has anyone actually been hit? I know shoes and cell-phones fly off of the ride, but has anyone seen anything more bizarre? I haven't, myself, but I'm sure someone has.

I've heard of someone losing an artificial leg on WT either last year or the year before. That would be pretty crazy to see a leg fly off.

I haven't had something hit me on Wicked Twister, but on Magnum someone lost their hat and it flew back and hit me.

Wow, a prostetic leg. I think I remember hearing about that also. It would be funny to be that guy, and telling people, "Yeah, I lost my leg on Wicked Twister." ;)

The leg thing happened the summer of 2002. It was one of the first things I read on Guide to the Point!

While riding Millennium Force on the last day of the 2002 season, I was in the last row on the right side and I was almost hit by a 1/2 full Pepsi bottle that had been ejected from someone's hands toward the front of the train. The bottle damn near-missed my head by an inch or so. I was pretty lucky.

What part of the ride did the bottle amost hit you in. And how did someone get that on the ride because they make you leave everything you have in a locker.

Probably at the pop machines half way through the queue, although why it wasn't discarded as they entered the station I don't know.

Last year, I was riding on Magnum and lost a walkie talkie. I was in the back row and lost it at the pretzel turn. All I heard was some clanking of it hitting the floor of the car and then a thud. Oh well. I can't beat the prostheic leg though!

It was during the first drop. And yes, it probably was from the Mid-Queue Vending Machines. I wasn't like scared or anything, just kinda startled.

I rode mf last year with my sunglasses on and a hat. Right in the station. They didnt say a thing. I also had a disposable camera for a great shot at the top of the 1st hill. Lemme see if i can find it.

I ride Magnum with my glasses, no straps or anything. Though I wear my junky glasses to the point and the sides are bent a little so they're really tight. I wouldn't ride MF with glasses w/o straps, so that's why I'm probably going to get contacts before my next trip to the points.

My cell phone went flying out on Magnums first drop and amazingly someone found it gave it to CP then they looked at teh #'s I had in iit and called my dads phone. I got it back with only a little crack on the front.
