two day ride + slide ticket question

I see a lot of auctions on ebay for 1/2 of a two day ride + slide ticket. i.e., just the 'day two' parts. does anyone know if these work like they should? if you use the 'day one' tickets, can you use the 'day two' tickets whenever you want to, or are they dated somehow so that they have to be used on consecutive days? I know you cant use both halves on the same day (for two people to split the tickets). just curious...

I thought that if you didn't use them on the next day, you had to pay a fee of like 10 dollars. But I am not sure about that...maybe check the CP website or something.

no, you can use day two any time after day 1. What you can't do is use the slide part at Cedar Point. If you do that, it is an extra charge.
