I hate that thing! I am 6'7" tall, and riding in the right-hand seat of the blue train just rattles me everytime! I always duck, I just can't help it! Does anyone know the actual height of those I-beams above the track or car? Can you touch them if your hands are raised? I am so hoping you cannot!

I have yet to ride the Mean Streak, which I need to do this year for several reasons. I am told there are several headchoppers on that ride also.

I am 6ft even, and actually raise my hands higher durring the head chopper, and am not even close to touching it.

Mine Ride on the other hand, I *have* touched the one right after it comes off the water. It was a slight nick, but it hurt.

Go around to the parking lot on the back side of Gemini, and you can see how theatrical those two head-choppers (on the first and fifth drops) really are. There is LOTS of clearance. The secret is that The Beam is in front of you as you dive under it. When you actually go under, that beam is a long way up.

Right side of the blue train? Try the left side of the red train; there is a partial stairway there that looks to be REAL close on that 5th drop.

Maybe this is why we are told to keep our arms down. (sarcasm included)

Me, personally, I'm 5'7", so I'm pretty sure I'm not going to hit any beams, but I could see where a guy like Tayshaun Prince could on MF and Magnum.

Your not going to hit the beams on any of the rides. They make it like that to freak you out.

Goodbye 2005 season!!!!

Wrong. Most every wood coaster has structure within reach, as does Millennium Force on the first turn.

Hey Jeff, where can you hit the Millennium Force on the turn, I can't say I've ever tried looking for it, but I'd like to know exactly where it is so I can have somthing to shoot for.

Were you dropped as a baby or are you just generally stupid?

So you WANT to break your hands, wrists or fingers?

That's just stupid.

I was joking, but I'd still look for it. I'm afraid to even put my hands out on Gemini or Mean Streak, but I can't resist putting them up. I guess I should've put the (sarcasm) sign in my last post. Sorry.

You can't hit it anymore. It was fixed.

I'm 6'2" and always duck on Gemini as well, it's such a great coaster. Just plain out fun. :)

I am only 5'11", but that Gemini headchopper gets me every time. I was once riding with a friend and we got to talking while on Gemini and I turned my head quickly to see the headchopper and screamed out "Oh F#@*" Some kids around me started laughing.

I'm only 5'4" but on Magnum and Millennium, whenever I'm about to go through a tunnel I throw my arms down instinctively because it feels as if I'm going to hit the top of the tunnel.

If you mean the Millennium Force support, that's not true either. It's still well within reach. They trimmed the size of the tube, but you could still hit it. I wouldn't suggest it.

I am 6'3" and leave my hands up on gemini and mean streak with plenty of clearance.

6 foot and up people warning: Despite what my friend told me I did hit my hand on the top of every mine ride head chopper with the black bumper things. I learned my lesson the hard way, but I was lucky to get the down before skin ripped off.

I was able to touch a part of CCMR once. It hurts and that's a slow coaster. Don't try anything on something faster.... IT will KILL!

Yea...a non CP coaster, but it's very dangerous. Space Mountain at Disney world. You can easily touch stuff throughout the entire ride.
