CP Weddings

While going through old posts, I noticed in the past people said CP wouldn't let them get married on a coaster. We were at the park this past weekend, and I guess CP has changed their ways, someone definitely was getting married at the Raptor and it was before GP was allowed in the park. So when you think CP won't change the rules, they do. Of course, there was a lot of speculation in the TTD line about the wedding details.

That's funny you posted this. I just called CP to find out about getting married on the beach. I had to leave a voice message, so I don't know if I'll get a thumbs up or (arms)down on it.

On the Sunday the 16th, during the Red Garder show the performers suddenly stoped the show and allowed a gentleman to take the mic and propose to his girlfriend during the show. I was surprised by this, and so was the lucky lady.

I can remember years ago a wedding at Mantis. The midway sweeps all lined up and formed an arched pathway of brooms for the Bride and Groom to pass through. Kind of tacky if you ask me, but not as tacky as the brides at PKI that were walked down the isle by the Rugrats. ;)

In '02 a couple got married on Millenium, and as I remember they got reservations at a CP resort, even though they didn't acutally stay there, to get in early with resort guests and JCC, then the whole party paraded to the Millenium where they had to wait in line just like everyone else.

Back in '99 when Magnum actually had a full line at night and a DJ a woman proposed to her boyfriend in the magnum line. He said yes. It was interesting.

Word on the street is that the bride was PB's own Jo (LuvRaptor). Anyone know if this is true?

That was the name that kept coming up, but like I said before there was a lot of gossiping going on and not all was favorable.

I can confirm that it was, in fact, Jo. Congrats to her!

Ah crap, and we tried to keep it all hush, hush. It was eventful to say the least. By the way, Raptor is running great now, alot better then at the start of the season.
