Going at the end of May

Me and my dad are planning to go to the Point on the 27 and 28 of May. Would it be a good idea to get to TTD in the morning when it openes up so to try to avoid the break downs durning the day?

No way. The best time to get in line for the Dragster is between 1-5 on any given saturday(preferably July-August).

gregdawg is right. Don't waste your time trying to get on TTD first thing in the morning. Spend the morning trying to get into Donut Time. And then again, there's always time for donuts.

The only way you would want to hit it in the morning is if you were near the front of the line to enter the park as i was on opening day. The only thing is, you have to run to get there first. Just my suggestion, have fun when you do ride it.

I'd only run to it if it is running smoothly when it opens...other then that, I get in line in August and wiated about 2 hours or less in the afternoon. Right now, the park seems to have nobody in it at all...so you'll have to see when you get there.

Mr. Ninja, I think, or hope, that gregdawg was being sarcastic. I seen line's up to five hours on Saturday's(especially July and August).

I say go in the morning. And I also think you should go in the Marina Gate. I went in the marina gate 2 weeks ago and was 2nd in line, I beat everybody that was at the Magnum gate. But I'm also on track, and can run a mile in about 5:30, so I guess that helped out too....

I've been there twice this year and didn't really notice any breakdowns. If you get in the park early, you might value the time n Millenium Force, if you get the exclusive ride time in the morning. But rides like Magnum, Gemini, and Mean Streak tend to stay empty. Wicked Twister, Power Tower and Raptor seems to fill up fast, probably because they are the first big rides that visitors approach when they enter the park.
