Will C.P. bring any of the larger Intamin rides to Geauga Lake or will they just keep it the way it is? Just a thought.

Seeing that Cleveland was rated as the 13th "Fattest" city in the U.S. by ABC News, and Intamin's new seatbelt/ride fitting policy, I think it would be smarter to not put any Intamin's at Geauga Lake until they resolve the seatbelt issue, or we lose some weight.

The ABC News info is true, but I am joking about not wanting another Intamin around town.

I would love the Intamin to come to GL, however I agree it might be more 'user friendly' if we were to get a B&M. How do the Morgan rides handle larger people? I know CP really likes their Morgan hypers, would this be a possibility?

When you say CP you must mean Cedar Fair because I'm confused. C.P. doesn't have a Morgan coaster. Only Morgan ride CP has I believe is Chaos. CF on the other hand has Mamba and Steel Force. I don't know but those two rides have done well at those parks but their Intamins (ex: Millennium Force, Top Thrill Dragster, and Xcelerator)seem to be doing better for the company.

The Morgan at Kennywood, Phantom's Revenge has a real cool restraint that is an arm that folds over. They are bigger cars too. I love them.

I also love B & M's restraints for rides like Nitro, Apollo's Chariot and the like. They are comfy and hold you in, without seatbelts. *** Edited 5/13/2004 2:54:39 AM UTC by Digital Daredevil***

I'll wager that Cedar Fair will take the same tact with GL that Kennywood took when it bought Idlewild, i.e. compliment, not compete. They will try to recapture the family,as well as the corporate picnic business. I wouldn't expect any "new" rides anytime soon, unless they are brought in from other CF properties.

Why would you say that GL won't get any new rides? Kinzel was already quoted saying that GL will get a Magnum-type ride in the future. Personally, I prefer Intamin over B&M or Morgan for hypers.

I just remembered that I'm absent minded
Wait, I mean I've lost my mind, I can't find it

Gomez you know what I meant, typo going back and forth between my CP and CF. Yes, 'CF' likes Morgan coasters. And you totally backed up what I meant. Yeah, I would love to have an Intamin over a Beemer or Morgan.

What I would love to see at GL is a coaster like Intamin's Storm Runner at Hershey Park.:)

I think it would be neat if Geauga Lake got a hyper. It would be unlikely to be a record breaker though, considering that Cedar Point is nearby. A Hypercoaster may be able to pull up the attendance a little bit more also.

I can see a real nice Hyper across the lake that people would love to walk over to see. I think it would be nice to see a hyper across the lake.

That's only because we have so many perogies in the area.

Nothing beats a homemade perogie. Have you had yours today? :)
