2004 Guide & Map misprint?

I noticed while at CP yesterday that the Sweeps I saw, and there seemed to be more than usual, weren't carrying maps in their back pockets (I know it sounds weird, but it's the kind of thing I notice). Anyway, I didn't really think much about it yesterday, but I noticed it again today. I asked one of the Sweeps I saw today for a Map, and he told me that they're only available at the entry gates due to there being a limited number because of a misprint. I talked to several other Sweeps throughout the park, and got the same story from all of them.

I haven't had a chance to look closely over this year's map. Has anyone else heard anything about this?

The guide that they are passing out is probably fine. That's why there is a limited number available, they didn't get enough correct copies from the printer yet.

I was reading the map and thought there was a misprint with the pet chek. Well after looking at the place it really is spelled pet chek. Other than that i have not seen any other mis-prints. Also the large maps that you can buy for a buck have not been updated.

What's on the cover of this years guide? I bet this has to do with the fact that Cedar Fair's printing machines were backed up because of GL getting bought. If you don't know what I mean look at the Getaway Guide thread.

I bought a "new" park map that was actually last years map ........Where you ask...? At the dragster speed zone shop... it was only a buck , but I think I'll try to swap it in a few weeks.
