It would be better than letting it rot in the EVC parking lot.

I don't know if this is possible...I thought one of the reasons it was removed was because spare parts for maintenance were becoming too hard to find. Am I right here, or am I thinking of a different ride?

Um, GL has the Starfish which is basically the same ride as Schwabinchen.

I would not count on Starfish staying around with all the baggage associated with the ride.

What baggage? You mean the fact that the Starfish is the particular ride responsible for most of the Wipeout modifications because Marine World apparently didn't know how to operate the thing? After all, the Wipeout rides at Knott's, Waldameer, Kennywood, Worlds of Fun, and so on don't have similar "baggage" associated with them.

Well, Kennywood had that one problem with theirs, but that was someone who shouldn't have gone anywhere near the ride, was warned away by the park, and tried to ride anyway, invoking a Federal access law.........

Well aware of the Starfish's history, but doesn't think it matters...

That brings up a good point - with the current location of the Starfish, it's probably SBNO for this season.

Well, if parts are so hard to come by for swab......then why is she still sitting in the e.v.c lot and not in the junk yard?

I would love to see her graze a midway once again in the near future.

Scott--

...Unless, of course, the decision is made that it would be easier to relocate the Starfish than to complete the overhaul on the Enterprise in time for the park to open. If the Enterprise can't open, I would expect the Wipeout, Bee Bee, Balloon Race, Spider, Yo-Yo, or Scrambler to take its place there on the corner by the Top Spin.

um....everyone who wants schwab to be moved to GL.....it just is a bad idea......if you know anything about CP, you know it is on the walking path from the bar back to housing......we all know what happens when guys get drunk....they feel the need to pee outside.....so, no, you do not want schwab to be ridden ever again

Yea, and a few of us know of some "guys" that got canned for peeing on the old girl.
