Graduation weekend

In years past, I remembered going on either the first or second sunday in June, and the park was relatively light. I was informed, that there were many graduation parties that weekend, thus the lighter than normal sunday.

We are planning on being at CP that second sunday in June, and are wondering if that is around the same time, or are graduations that sunday after memorial weekend/Coastermania time?

Oh man, this brings back memories. SFGAm used to have graduation day during the beginning of June. They had there last one about 11 years ago do to a shooting in the parking lot. I know this is off key but your post made me think of that unfortunate moment. When you get a bunch of teenagers together at one time from Chicago to Milwaukee you can only think that a problem might happen. I was a teenager back then and I was dissapointed that a few bad apples had to show up for this once cool event.

Just to add a few things when i graduated a few years ago your right it was the end of may beginning of june that everyone had their parties.

But we cant forget the location of CP. Northern part of the country, i cant speak for all the neighboring communities but i know alot can be hit hard with snow in the winter and cause the graduations to get pushed back to make up some of those days. With that in mind dont forget about Proms. I know most of the schools around my community would end up at CP the day after prom. Though being the second weekend in June that probebly isnt the issue.

All in all i dont think its going to matter when you come this year because the world is watching CP, visiting CP, and embrassing CP with its newest addition. My guess is its safe to say it might be a bit "lighter" then other days, but not any lighter then past years.
