What is your favorite lighting on a coaster.

My favorite lighting on a coaster,mine would have to be Raptors and Mean Streaks. I like Raptor becouse it is like your going throught the ride with a lightning storm overhead. I like Mean streaks because I like how the wood looks obove those awsome lights.

OK, mine would be:
Power Tower. Great to look at.
Meanstreak. I hate the ride, but it is a work of art at night.
Raptor. The only decent lighting on the megacoasters. The subtle way the lights on the cobra roll fade in and out is a pleasure to watch.
Wildcat. I don't like this ride either, but the lights are classic, and remind me of nicer days, when summer fairs were the highlight of the break from class.

The rest are about the same to me.

Well, I love the cobra roll on Raptor, but I have to say I'm a bit of a traditionalist. My vote goes to the Blue Streak. I think that would be so cool if they had those chasing lights on the first and second hills of MF...or even Magnum for that matter.

Mean Streak deifnatly. The wood w/ the giant flood lights... WONDERFUL! Then of course ra[tor becuse the whole thing is just flashes of light at night!

1. Blue Streak -- classic chaser lights

2. Mine Ride -- no lights, it 's hard to beat the dark

Mean Streak, especially from the bay. It is the prettiest coaster I have ever seen, at night it just looks magical.

1. MF ;) (prob. will be up there in 20 days)
2. Power Tower-very unique
3. Iron Dragon-Yes. Seeing only a few light around the mist provides a great atmosphere
4. Corkscrew-I like the lights "highlight" the, well corkscrews
5. Magnum-Can't forget my #1 coaster! Gotta love those 200 odd feet of semi-chasing light!

Before MF, my favorite is the Raptor. I like the cobra roll where the lights go out right as you enter and the strobes start. PT is probabbly second.

Mean Streak used to be my favorite until a bad experiance a couple of years ago. he park was about to close and my friend and I thought it would be "cool" to ride the Mean Streak at night. Big Mistake. I guess the two of us wen't thinking about the mayflies that were all over the park at the time. We took the front car (another mistake). We were the only people on the train. We started down the hill and I felt what seemed to be a rain-drop hit my face. I yelled to my friend, "Is it raining?". Just then a mayfly hit the back of my throut. Not a good trip on the Mean Streak.

LOL, I remember when I swallowed a fly on Magnum. mmmm, tastes just like Chicken! Every time I ride Magnum I scream to someone I don't know around me that I swallowed a fly. I cough up a storm. By the time we are back at the station the hole train is cracking up. The ride ops can never understand it (oops just gave away the secret) :)
