I am headed to the Point Tuesday the 3rd, and I'm bringing some friends. Besides the Getaway Guide, where can I get the best discounts/coupons on admission, either here in Pittsburgh or in Sandusky?

If you are a AAA member, some states offer a discount at your local branch. Additionally, try your city offices. I got my ticket this year for $31 through the city. I haven't heard of any deals on pop cans, but sometimes they have them. Look around at the grocery store. For that matter, grocery stores sometimes sold discount tickets at the service desk, as did store like Meijers. I don't know if they do anymore. The deals are out there!!!

1-800-BUCKEYE sends you the Getaway Guide, Ohio travel/ information booklet that has some coupons, and a travel atlas.

Looking here in my Mikes Marketshare coupons I got in the mail today (Macomb Co., MI) I found a coupon for 9 bucks off admission, for up to six admissions.

I think that those of you expecting something huge and cool will be disappointed. There isn't a single logical reason to pour a footer and enclose it in an ugly wall for six months.

Any Meijer store has good discounts if you can find one of those near or on your way.

Last year, my family pulled into the parking lot and the guy to the right of us had a flat tire so my dad told them. The guy thanked us and asked if we needed tickets. So he sold them to us for $15 each, 4 people in my family. Tops sells tickets at a discounted price, $34. Breakers Express sells them for the same price.

Try a bank/credit union. I know Three Rivers credit union offers discounted tickets, and I can get them from the ITT credit union at work too.

Thanks everybody. I think I'm going to count on picking up some Pepsi cans in Sandusky on the way (i've ckecked and there aren't any in Pittsburgh). I hate to be a hassle, but since I don't have any here, can someone tell me how much they are for? TUBBY tells me 10 bucks off for sierra mist, is it the same for regular pepsi cans too? Thanks

Both the AAA and Credit Union in Detroit sell Cedar Point tickets for $31. I would go with that.

Well, I just stopped at my AAA place, and found out that i have to order them online, then they mail them out to me-not enough time. However the discount was for $33.25, so the pepsi can would be better anyway.
