TTD + LAZER SHOW

I just had the craziest idea while looking at pictures of TTD. What if the front of Top Thrill Dragster was the new location of the lazerlight show. That would be sooo awsome!! Don't you think? ;) Top Thrill Lazer Show

Yea, the wind would tear through that like a hot knife through butter, that is if it were the same kind of material as the giant screen which they do the laser show on now. Nonetheless, if it were possible, it would be pretty sweet.

Would you want the TTD line to close at 8:30pm so they can get everyone out in time to close the ride for the laser show? I didn't think so.

but Ohio has Cedar Point and Put-In-Bay.
It's great to live in Ohio!

Why would you want to ride TTD anyways, not like it is the worlds tallest and fastest coaster! ;) that would be pretty cool tho. not shutting it down riding it with lasars coming at you. what a neat ride effect that would be.

I was thinking the same thing as theone001. That would be so cool. They could even shoot pyro off of it.

Good idea except for a few things...

1) No good places to watch so from.
2) Would have to close ride (very) early.

I don't know...dodging fireworks at 120 mph sounds like it could be an exhilarating experience...:)

Having the giant "sail" there would also block the countdown lights. Shooting pyrotechnics off of it is a totally diffrent thing though! Now that would be awesome!

No thats the thing ride it while the show is going! And pyrotechnics would make for an awesome ride!....probably the only way the ride could get better! I can see the conversation now, Monty Jasper-"See to add a thrill to it we added 14 cannons on the top of the 420 foot tower, see at night we are gonna launch fireworks so high, Detroit fireworks will be canceled due to our awesome Fireworks display,.....Nightly!" hehe i can see him thinking that. or the count down lights shoot off flares instead of just lighting up! Now everyone will see it launch!
