is Cedar Point gonna close down the line for some certain rides (i.e., the ert rides) early, or are the Joe Cool Club members gonna have to wait 4 hours for Top Thrill Dragster rides anyway, even though we were promised ERT? Please help me out, as i m going crazy!

I highly doubt they will close the line to the GP early. As many people have said before, think of it at "extended ride time," rather than "exclusive ride time." Ride Magnum or Mantis for the first 58 minutes (these should be pretty exclusive) and then get in line for MF or Dragster near the end of the time.

Well, since they are up to a 5 car / 5 train operation that should at least help things a little.

If there is a freeway line, then JCC members will probably go through that way. Thats one way for ERT.

Hmmm - there's an idea too. I wouldn't count on it though because the GP line will not move.

eh, i found my answer, and it was delicious. the lines were already small for most of the day, and then the ERT was ACTUALLY EXCLUSIVE!!!! Mantis once, Millennium Force thrice, Magnum once, and Top Thrill Dragster i got on a total of twice all day! (once during ert, once during the day). great times.

The JCC ERT wait for TTD was about 40 minutes I was one of the last ones there for the first line up but was able to get on 2 times in the 1.5 hours. I would imagine some of the first there got on 3 times .. it was ok.. they had 5 trains with all the cars on each train.. they still are a little slow between launches though.. It is definately getting better though.. way better.. TTD is absolutely amazing at night. I think It might be the best ... The view.. no sun glare. the lights.. not too warm... it was great...

Just got home. Yes TTD at night was awesome! I was expecting larger crowds so we waited until almost 9:15 before heading over to TTD. 40 minutes later we we launching and our speedometer read 127MPH. That was awesome. If we would've went over there earlier we would've easily gotten more than 1 ride. I addition to that TTD ride during ERT I also got 2 Magnum, 1 Mantis and 5 MF rides. It was great.

Also while waiting in line for TTD I spoke to Magnum Dan and MagnumForce who were right with us in line.

Is night time ERT for JCC just on certain dates or every night?

So far, only last night and Friday May 30th have been announced as having ERT at night for JCC members.

I'm REALLY REALLY hoping they add some more night time ERT dates in the near future... but no word yet.

wow 127 that sounds pretty fast actually to fast.. seing as how i was there at dragster the whole ert and it only topped out at 122... i think you streched the truth there a little bit... but thats cool.. it would be really sweet if it went 127 but its not that likely...

plus its very hard to see your speedometer when your riding. b/c its very small so thats another reason why i dont think the train reached 127

I think maybe the 121 looks like 127 at that rate of speed. cause i never saw it go over 121 that day it might have hit 122 a few times, but hey atleast it is running with 5 cars! i got a few magnum laps and MFer laps. but went home after riding MFer cause my girlfriend was getting sick from not eating.

Besides the great rides and being the best of everything, the best part about Cedar Point is that it isn't Six Flags! YAY!

No truth stretching there. If you are on the outside and really paying attention you can read the sign no problem. I think I can tell the difference between a '1' and a '7'. I've seen it do 125 many times - it is only 2 MPH faster.

122 is tops that I saw Friday. I would really doubt 127. Most launches were below 120 in the 117 range.

I did see some 122s and 125s that night. Maybe it was 117 though because I am sure the last number was a 7. Wishful thinking then maybe. Anyway, it was nice to meet you and talk with you in line.
