I just wanted to tell everyone who is going to Media Day tomorrow to have fun! Unfortually I am not going but still have fun!

I heard several news agencys, not sure which ones, aren't sending reporters because they are too scared to ride it.

The Wife, and I went to eat at Max&Irma's this evening. We saw a Toledo 11 News van heading towards Cedar Point, on 250 at about 6:30pm. It looks like the big story of the day around here.

CrazyCoasterGuy, you should here something on it. My uncle called from Tampa, his granddaughter works for the news center there and asked about the TTD. They sent a crew from Florida. He is in his 70s and doesn't like coasters. He asked what the "hoopla" was all about. All I could say was; "Pullleeze"

Just saw Jeff on NBC 24 here in Toledo a few minutes ago. Turned to 13 ABC right after that to find Raptor Jo. The ride has been down all morning due to lightning, but they are still interviewing the enthusiasts.

Edit: Toledo 11 just reported that it hasn't just been lightning keeping TTD down all morning. Overnight, TTD was struck by lightning, messing up it's electrical system. They said the mechanics have been working overnight to fix the electrical systems, but they don't have it back up yet.

Just a second ago on Fox 8 news they had two people right in front of the station talking, then they showed the painting on the side of that one building. I only saw the end of it but they said they'll be back on in a few minutes

OK! they just came back on and showed an actuall video of the ride in progress and all i have to say is "HOLY SH*T!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" i have the nervous feeling in my stomach just sitting here! there talking about it right now!

FOX News (the national station) is going to have a segment on TTD coming up soon.

They are running it now. A person from WMJI in Cleveland just gave an on-ride account. Sounds spectacular!

That guy interviewed a lot of us. I did a morning hit with him, and he did Twister with me last year. I did 24 as well. Once the ride was up consistantly, the media was more interested in riding than they were interviewing. Duh!
