Trying to decide if Joe Cool Club is worth it...

How long are the lines for the two coasters that are running during early ride times? We're thinking about getting the Joe Cool memberships just for that (since our kids will have passes and can get in with us without buying Joe Cool memberships for them), but with only two rides operating, are the lines really long? Are there a LOT of Joe Cool members? I understand the resort guests are also allowed in at that time.

Yes, resort guests are allowed in at the same time. We still waited in line for MF for about 45min the day we went last year. The best part of the early pass was laughing at the GP standing at the front gate at 9:30 as we walked right by them.

As a resort guest last year the Friday after Memorial Day, we waited 5 minutes for MF the first time, 10 the second time, and just over 10 the third time before the line finally got to be long. I'm sure that times vary according to the time in the season as a Saturday in July will most likely have more people than the last Friday in May, but it was a nice treat with the short waits (and Wicked Twister wasn't running that morning, it opened up later).

I think it is worth it. Short wait times for Millenium alone are worth it. Even if you don't want to ride Millenium, you can be at the front of the line for the ride you do want to ride. Oh yeah... and cruising past the other people at the front gate, flashing your card and getting in early is good also.

JCC is probably the best $15 I've spent at the park. Although it can sometimes not be very E RT(especially for MF last year), it is worth it. There was one morning in September when I got 8 Raptor rides in 1/2 hour. I could have had 10, but 2 of those were a one train wait for front seat.

Don't forget JCC offers more than ERT. Some of the discounts are worth it as well.

Personally, I think the portable parking pass is almost worth it...

The reason I got mine originally was the portable parking pass. I have had it two years now, and I didn't use it for ERT last year even once. This year though, I probably will, as Dragster will most likely screw up SCPP (Standard Cedar Point Protocol, which I plan to make a post about soon).

I say the portable parking pass alone is worth it. Thanks to that, I was able to go multiple times in friends' cars, without them having to pay for parking. (It also meant when it came time to chip on for gas, I could say "I saved you $8 on parking" and get away without having to pay anything :-))

I got the 2003 season pass with parking pass and JOE COOL before I decided on becoming an employee.

To be honest, either the ETR or the parking pass on the ID alone justified it for me last year. This year they even have some night ETR for Joe cool only.
