sandusky train station

i was just wondering if anyone knew if the amtrak station in sandusky is close to CP. and if so do they no the street address. cause im taking the train down there from Boston. also if Hotel Breakers offers some kind of transportation form the hotel to the station .

I'm not sure of the street, but the Amtrak station is not too far away. You will need to take a cab to the hotel however. I don't believe that CP offers a courtesy van that goes to the Amtrak station, it may be worth giving the Breakers a call however.

Strangely enough, the Amtrak Station, or Depot, is located on Depot street in Sandusky. It is along the main New York - Chicago line. The station is not manned at all hours, although they are working on building an EMS station and police substation there. Two trains a day stop in Sandusky, one late at night, one in the early morning. Can't remember which direction is at what time, check your timetable. Taxi service is available, but you will prolly need to call for it, as there is no taxi stand. Depot street is not one of the best neighborhoods to look at, but there has never been any trouble with train passengers. If you have reservations at a decent hotel, they may send a van to meet you there. Check with your hotel front desk.
