Reinforcement?

Does anyone know if they are going to reinforce WT like they are doing to xcellerator, or did they find out that it's ok?

The primary problem last season with WT was the track. However, welding, welding, welding, and beefier crossbracing has seemed to fix that problem.

The "A-Frame" supports on Xcelerator are being reinforced pretty soon. Weather or not WT needs that extra support, we don't know right now, and Cedar Point probably wouldn't admit it if asked.

Well, if you go by rumors last year that foundations were spot behind Disaster Transport last year, then yes, it's being reinforced.

I don't think so. On xcelerator the reinforcements are for the track. The track is very different on xcelerator than WT. I doubt it has something to do with the A-frames. I hope they don't do it to WT.

It would take different types of reinforcements than Xcelerator. Xcelerator doesn't twist as much or as fast as Wicked Twister does. Especially with how the twist is already started when Wicked Twisters supports aren't even done.

I heard that Xcelerator's Track swayed a lot more than WT's. That's why it makes me think they aren't doin this to Wicked Twister.

As far as I can tell WT will be getting some new reinforcement.

Also whoever mentioned the ride returning to its "formal glory" don't get your hope up. Monty said that the way the ride was running the last quarter of the season is the way it will open up this summer!
