Friendly Hotels for Young Adults

I'm trying to plan a trip up to cedar point with my girlfriend for the last full week of May. The biggest problem I've run into is trying to book a room when neither of us are 21. Does anyone know of any local hotels that have a minimum age of 18 to rent a room? You really think that places such as CP would rent to a kid who is willing to drive 10 hours just to visit their park (and PKI later in the week). Thanks if you can help.

I would suggest if you or your girlfriend have a credit card to call a hotel and book a room. If they ask your age than get a friend over 21 or your parents with a credit card to book it for you. The hotel usually wont care when you arrive because it is already paid for. I say this from past experience.

I had that problem for the last three years and I am so glad its over. I always called in advance and gave them my credit card number. Then when it was time to check in I had my driver's license number memorized so I wouldn't have to show it to them when I filled out the form. I must have done it dozens of times over the past years and I have never been carded. I reccomend calling the Econolodge on Cleveland Rd.

You could try the dusk to dawn motel out on rt 250 by the Sandusky Mall. I remember having a few crew parties there and I'm almost sure the people who were signing for the room weren't always 21.

I thought that Dusk Til Dawn or whatever place was closed. I didn't see it when I went to the Christmas party. Could be wrong though. Anyone care to expand?

We have never had a problem me being 19 and my boyfriend being 20 at the time we both were 18 and we never got checked as long as you 1 call ahead of time or 2 book it on-line that is the fastest way
