On ride photo

If you look at the cedar point websites construction photos of TTD. Theres one picture that could look like an on ride photo pic. Is that possible.

I'm not sure how it would look in that location. That's on the down side, so if the camera was looking in that direction you'd get photos of the back of your head.

Now if you just put it on the up-side, that would be pretty cool. And then have one on the down side looking up.

Well there's gonna be two, and Janice Witherow said it would be a "before and after" type thing. I think that she means there's gonna be one before the up and one after the down.

Should be on right on the top so you could see how high you are in the backround.

I think the photos will be before the tower at the end of the launch when the train is at maximum speed, and at the end of the launch (or exceleration) at the top of the tower. Those would be the only two pictures I would be interested in purchasing, given the price in all likelyhood will be over $10. IMO, a before the launch picture or at the end of the ride is too static (not very interesting). I can not believe CP would miss the kodak opportunity from the top of the tower at 420 feet.

Keep in mind that the flashbulb would have to be pretty darn fast to catch the train @ 120 mph. They probably will have it where the train is going around 60 or 70. That's my opinion.

The cameras aren't flash cameras, they're video. I believe this was discussed last year when the great "Will they have an on-ride on WT," discussion. It doesn't matter how fast you're going, the camera will be fast enough to pick up the train.

I'd love to have it right after it turns green (the light obviously) and then right at the top, or right after you start hitting the brakes.

CP - you make a great point. Having a shot right after the light turns green would be sweet - shock, surprise, intensity, and being scared sh$t!e$$ all in one shot - nice.
