New Paint

I heard Mantis and Wildcat are getting new paint jobs. Wildcat will be flouresct green and purple and Mantis will be repainted, but the will look the same right? Because Raptor was repaited in 99 and it still looks the same.Mantis would look dumb and in any other scheme.

This belongs on the General board. Not the "Top Thrill Dragster" board! Do you see the difference! And yes wildcat did get a new paintjob as you said. This topic is gonna be locked in 3....2....1

Raptor was repainted in 2001...Mantis was supposed to be painted last year as well.

I'm so used to the wildcat the way it was. Where can I find a picture of it with it's new colors? Too bad the Raptor is already green. It would make more sense for the Mantis to be green. It would be nice to oust the pink from the Raptor.

What color scheme do you guys think would look good on the big green bird?

SKY-RYDER, I found a picture out there somewhere of Wildcats new paint job but I don't think it was on this site or on Virtual Midway. I beleive Walt and Jeff respect the privacy of CP and won't post anything until the offical site posts it.

cause I'm allergic to yellow

I rode Wildcat the day before closing day and didn't even notice the colors until I was doin' the running of the bulls the next day!

They got them by "illegally" goin around perimeter road and taking pics, so that's why Jeff dosn't have any, they followed "da rules". Sorry for and weird spelelings, typig with a huge rip covered in tape on one hand is never fun.

raptor sould be gray(supports) black(track) and yellow(rails) with orange accernts on the train and the shoulder harness would look like talons

I personally liked the wildcat white. Purple and green are too bright. Raptor would look good with a darker green track and black supports, and Mantis should be light green like x-flight.
