Area school dismissal for summer

Hi- I haven't been here in a while and I'm sorry if this has already been covered, but when to the Ohio schools let out for summer break? I'm trying to stratigically plan...

Usually around the 1st weekend of June. I dont know the exact date. Why do you ask?

Thank God that college doesn't go nearly as long. LoL. Owens Community College get out May 13, and University of Toledo, May 5th. That meens alot of coaster ridding without little annoying kids for me!

Yeah, that's what I love most about college. I get out May 9th this year, which basically gives me a full month of weekdays before all the high school and grade school kids flood the Point.

So if you're looking to plan a trip, Tuesdays and Wednesdays of the first three weeks of the season have extremely small crowds, usually. Don't know how the new ride will effect crowd-size this time of year, though.

Last day for seniors at my school is May 30, the rest of the grades are June 6.

You know, though, May and June are when a lot of schools plan their post-prom activities, senior trips, and we can't forget Physics Day! It really doesn't matter when area schools let out; there will still be lots of young people enjoying the park.

I plan on visiting the Point right in the middle of Finals. I go to Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland and did that for opening day last year.

Maybe its because of my visit to Cedar Point on opening day, before all my finals were over, that I had my best semester yet (only time I did better was this semester that just ended)!

CoasterMania is on the day of 2 of my finals. It was last year as well.

Don't you guys go back to school in mid august too? That will be a good time from people from the west to go, since we always start school on the day after labor day. A lot of us end in mid june though, for me its the 21st : (
