Jeff, I enjoyed your quote about the dangers of driving to the Point vs. riding Dragster.

Am I the only one who thinks Janice and Cedar Point should give up the tired Superman SFMM arguement? Cedar Point has a Wicked Twister, SFMM has Superman, I wish they would just let it rest.

I doubt that it's Cedar Point who brings it up. I think the focus on that issue comes from the media. I got asked many times by reporters yesterday about SFMM and Superman. I certainly didn't bring it up.

To follow-up on the original post, Janice asked me to relay that Cedar Point never brings this subject up to the media. They are focused on what they are doing and think they have their own story to tell. The park makes it a point not to bring up the topic.

On channel 11 yesterday, Janice was on, and she was answering phone calls, and one person asked her "What park are you competing with for these records", and she didn't mention anything about SFMM, she said they were competing with Japan, since they took CP's records in such a short time.
