Immediate Area Surrounding Dragster

Looking at the drawings it appears that are going to utilize the infield for the queue. At least it is going to be fun to watch (ala Raptor) while you wait.

I was also excited to see the drawings of people on the midway immediately next to the launch area. This is going to be a great ride, even for non-riders.

From the drawings, it looks as tho you enter the queue line through the bottom of the top hat....am I seeing that right?

Did you also notice the bleachers right at the "starting line"??

Yeah, I think that is a great idea if it winds up happening. Anything to get the non-rider involved is great with me. I'll ride the thing but I might have more fun watching people ride the thing.

If they have an onride pic I think they should make it happen at the beginning of the launch when it just starts to happen. There are going to be lots of surprised looks of terror.

Did anyone else notice also that they are putting at least a few trees back in.

Looking at that drawing that looks like part of a park map, I think the entrance is under the launch run near the end. Which pic are you looking at?

Once again Cedar Point makes not only builds an amazing ride but the placement is perfect as well. Not only is the launch perfectly placed on the midway, but the que is also good. Its great watching the rider reaction at the end of MF, I imagine it will be the same way for this one.

Thanks Cedar Point for pushing the limits of thrill rides, again. If only i lived 2 minutes away instead of 2 hours life would be perfect.

It looks like the Power Station may be transformed into a Dragster gift shop. Also, the exit ramp looks like it is going to weave back around to Paddlewheel's entrance, instead of merging with the midway. It seems like there will be lockers at the entrance too.

Reminds me of Corvette world at Disney World. That was so cool there. My 2 brothers and I caused a chain reaction accident on that ride, that somehow got my bro's car on top of the back of my car bending them together. I had to tow my bro's car back because it's drive wheels were off the ground. It was quite the feeling pulling back into the start/finish with the bleachers erupted into a standing ovation.

The ride's called the Tomorrowland Speedway FYI.

I really like the themeing here. I REALLY DO! I'm a Disney fan and I'm very picky about things, but I really like this coaster so far.

Really? They must have changed the name at some point. Although it was about 13 years ago that I was there.

I also noticed that water is shown under the first Iron Dragon helix. Refresh my memory -- has that always been there? I know the last half of ID goes over the water, but I couldnt remember any of the first half doing that.

About the bleachers, that's great. They could really go all out by hiring hot dog vendors! Then it would be like a food court while watching the "race"! Maybe they'll have a stand to place bets on the winner (by winner I mean first person to puke!).

Well, I wouldn't go "that" far. You wouldn't want people's hot dogs coming back up during the ride, would you?

I was looking at the drawing on CP's website Front Seat Rider....it just looked as though the way to get to this thing is to go under the tophat. Maybe I'm wrong. I'll go look again!

Ever been to Kings Dominion in Virginia? The queue for Hypersonic is parallel to the launch, which equals views of the priceless looks from riders. It's great fun, and really entertaining in that slow moving line.
