Hit or Miss?

We all know now essentailly what this ride is, big hill, brakes, and right back to the station, not much of a ride aside for the 400'+ hill. Do you think it's going to catch on a be as or more popular then MF after the new ride lure wears off? I worked on WT and heard plenty of ppl say "It's a big U, it's not a real coaster, there's nothing to it."I think it will stay, but that's only one person's opinion

It is going to be a huge flop and they will tear it down before the '04 season.

Of course I haven't been on the new ride yet, but I'm sure Millie will still be mine and many others' favorite. I think the ride on Millie is just as much of a rush as being 300' in the air. #16 will be great, but I think it'll fall 2nd place to Millie. But I still can't wait to ride it this May!

I thought you were talking about New Found Glory there for a minute. I think it's too soon to tell.

Yeah, they haven't even annouced the ride to the rest of the world...we will probably have to get some feed back from the GP before we can tell what most of them will think.

What if they did three circuits or something, like WT? THis would make the coaster more popular because no one really wants to wait 3 hours to ride a 15 sec ride.

That would have to have some serious speed at the begining since they aren't using LIMs. It is launched on a sled and has to reset for the next train.

I've riden many roller coaters but let me tell you xcelerator was one of the funnest roller coaters I have ever been on! The only one to beat it being the MF, and I have been on 49 unique coasters. NEWAY, Getting launched from 0-82 MPH in 2.3 seconds is so awsome it is hard to explain. You can't breath, think or blink. Your stomach drops to your groin and then it feels like extacy. I think the turns after the launch were pointless and boring. I would'nt even miss them. Now, the launch and way up then down, is very hard to explain but is one of the best, most unique experiences I have ever had. I rode it 6 times that day and wish I had riden it more. It will be a preference thing on which ride is better, I promise.

I'm sorry, but that's a new low in the whole spelling/grammar argument on this site.

So you would rather wait 9 hours for a 45 second ride? or maybe you just didnt think about that.

How many people still wait for Power Tower, another 20 second ride?

A lot.
