Ah, the moment of truth approaches. The tower frame is now complete except for the tabletop piece. The only question that remains is will it go directly atop the odd piece or will it be mounted higher yet on a post? Methinks the cranes can squeeze out a little more. (Mehopes!)

At like 3:35 I saw one of the cranes standing at least 100 feet above the tower. It was way over the other crane. I waited and watched it but when it refreshed the crane was back to its normal size.

The crane didn't get any taller, the angle you saw it at just made it appear taller.

I'm confused as to how you can say the tower frame is now complete. I don't know if it's just my comp. or if the camera's are messed up, but it doesn't look complete to me. The beach cam shows two of the supports not connected yet. Just wondering if it's just me, or if the supports aren't together yet.

Peace I'm Out

Earlier, all three were connected. They have since taken off one of the diagonal pieces that connects to the drop side.

Shortly after I made my post, I noticed that there appeared to be a little "kink" in the left diagonal at the top and didn't know why it was there. I wonder if the bolt holes did not line up correctly. They earlier had to cut some of the lower supports for the brake run and re-weld them. I wonder if that was the problem there, too. It will cost Intamin big bucks to modify that strut in the field. I bet the contractor's smile just got a whole lot bigger! Cha-Ching!

It looks kind of funny with that one piece missing, but I saw it earlier and it looked great! I'm getting so excited, and we're barely into the offseason yet.

I saw the progress on the tower earlier today (Tuesday) on the Web cam. How high do you all figure the apex is at this point?

I saw them take down that piece on the left side and I'm stumped why??

Had to be some kind of wierd happening like, wrong bolts, OOPs I forgot the wrench, or "I'll be damned it dont fit"

"Are you shure you got the right one??" -"It's yellow it must go here"Well, kick it then"- "man its cold up here lets go get coffee"

Geez Angelo, I was looking for some learned speculation, not a cutesy, uninformative response.p
