Topping Out!

Looks like we've made it.

I have been reading this forum for months. and have never written a word but this is such a great thing to see that "Weird Piece" topping off #16. pretty soon all. and someone wrote of seeing it from the Edison bridge I pulled my car over just to get a good look and that is an awesome place to really take in the size of this thing, I've Got chills!

They haven't come close to topping out yet. Is the support they're adding now the highest support? Probably. But there is still track to go on top of that, so they haven't topped out yet.

I live in Lorain, Ohio which is approx. 30 miles east of CP. On a clear day by the lake you can see the tower. Kind of an eerie sight to know that it is so big that you can see it with the naked eye from that distance!

i'm pretty sure this is going to be where all 3 towers meet.. but that doesn't mean that there isn't going to be another huge support sticking straight up holding track.. i don't know for sure.. but i think that would be the case unless we already hit 400+ feet.

Counting the levels, the latest piece that is being installed today will bring the tower up to 400'.

I rember people saying that the tower will look stupid, and out of place. I thought other wise, and now seeing the tower nearly complete, it out blew my expectations!

I still say it does look stupid. It looks like a giant middle finger sticking up in the middle of Cedar Point. Still should make for one hell of a ride...

I had to be in Sandusky today and I talked my mom into taking me over and i was in astonishment when i saw the tower. And Seeing those massive cranes.....all i could say wa WOW! so if anyone of you are in capable i suggest heading over to see it. It would be worth a little drive.

Looks like another visual perspective distortion. The cranes can look a lot bigger when swung towards the camera… BTW.. Does anyone know… is the camera on top of the of the 10 story part of the hotel.

The angle is wrong... and the PT is missing. The foreground is the hotel parking lot.

It's not on Demon Drop, it's on top of Hotel Breakers, the reason the name says Demon Drop is because there used to be a camera on Demon Drop and they just haven't changed the name of the camera
