Celebrity sightings?

The other post about celebrities made me curious. Has anyone ever seen a celebrity at CP- whether a ride-op or a guest? Also, do they get special treatment like going to the beginning of the lines?

I read somthing about Kid Rock being at the point sometime late last season. I didn't see him, just read it on this site I think.

I guess he's from Detroit area or somthing.

Haven't seen a celebrity at CP but I did see wrestler Mick Foley at Disneyworld, that was only time I've seen a celebrity out in public.

My girlfriend who worked on Magnum saw Omar Vizquel one day this past season, he came up the exit with one of the PR guys and he rode Magnum.

In '97, the woman that plays Hope on Days of our Lives (I have no clue, I don't watch soaps) and a few members of Lenny Kravitz's band rode Ripcord. Lenny Kravitz himself sat and watched in the plaza. Bone, Thugs, and Harmony were there in '97 and '98, but I didn't see them this year. They always made it a point to come to ride Ripcord at least twice (they were not the most pleasant of guests, either). A few of us spotted Jim Thome and his family in the park last year and it was rumored that the Backstreet Boys were there at one point too.

Yes, Kidrock was everywhere last year ("Where you at Rock, where you at?"). I saw him once at Friday's in Breakers at the next table and once in front of me in line for Iron Dragon. He was very low key for the most part.

Lenny was a pretty cool guy when I met him in '93 (during my radio days). Probably the most mellow guy I've ever met when not on stage.

I heard Aresinio Hall (sp?) the former late night talk show host worked at CP as a sweeper.

in 98 my frist trip to the point with my brother and a couple other friends we were waiting in line to ride the corkscrew and we saw Don King (at least he looked like Don King)on the ride going up the lift hill.

Anyone that worked on the corkscrew that season know if im correct?
