Well, I was at SFNE and somehow ended up at CP the following night. Does that count? ;)

After closing weekend, I will have driven a total of 5,238 miles to and from Cedar Point. This includes five trips from school in Rochester, NY (~5 hours or 317 miles each way) and two trips (~8 hours or 517 miles each way) from home in the Albany, NY area. That's about 82 hours in the car for CP!

Yes I know - I am sad! :)

Didn't that dude from England come back this year? I know that he went to CP last year and planned on it this year too, but we haven't heard from him in a while.

I have made the trip from Miami, FL to CP every year for the past 6 years. I used to live in Michigan and got hooked on CP in 1983 and have gone just about every year since.

Is this flying or driving distance?

Of course, I hardly count my 680 mile drive as 'long' anymore. I spent a lot of it playing Simpsons Wrestling with CBaby in the back of Playette's van.

On the other hand, any ideas that the DVD player would shut the kids up during trips were wrong. So very, very, very wrong. Oh well.

I don't know how long the distance is, but I think Berlin is pretty far away ;-)!I have been to Cedar Point this year 3 times, but I lived in Toledo for a year. I was an exchange student. But I hope to come back this coming summer for six weeks.:-)

'Playa---perhaps it's an age thing? Our kids are generally pacified for an hour at a time by the VCR, but they are mini munchkins.

14 trips at 3 1/2 hours average per trip (from either Pittsburgh or Slippery Rock PA) ... so approximately 50 hours in the car. Not bad! You're not that crazy Matt, I'd spend double that amount of time if I had the time or the money.
