Opening Ceremonies

Does anyone know what else is planned for the ceremony besides a ribbon cutting?

I remember that when Power Tower opened that they let the people in the queue. While that was happening the people for the Red Cross were getting ready to ride. Robin Innes gave a little speech, there was a ribbion cutting and we rode, nothing really special. I am sure that if they aren't starting the Force until 10:30 opening day that they will have some very speical events planned.

For the Mantis opening... I was one of the "first riders"... bought through the ACS. We were walked up the exit shortly before 10a.m. loaded into the car and then sat while, R. Kinzel, D. Miers for Cedar Point and a couple of Sandusky politicans made speeches on the platform. Eventually a ribbon was cut and away we went. The whole program was about 20 minutes. I bet there will be something just like this with MF. Weather permitting I bet the ride will open to the general public before 10:30a.m.( CP always likes to overstate the actual time you wait, then it doesn't seem as long of a wait)

I plan on being a first rider so to speak on MF and I thought i read they were starting everything at 9:30 or so. I could be wrong but we are supposed to meet at 8:30 at the group sales booth.
