Could have been Jeffery Spartan, he's from Michigan. He's got pics of it with all the CP stickers on the back window on his website. I saw it in the Soak City lot once, it looked very cool.

It's all about getting around the barrels, or over the fences, right leads, no faults, fastest time and looking pretty when done. What's so hard about that? :)

I can't think of my licence plate # right now...

...But just look for the only person under 40 driving a PT Cruiser ;) (Millennium Force back window logo coming soon)

:-P I like it! Only bad thing I can say about 'Cruisers is that the accelration sucks. I'm planning on a few bolt-on mods to hopefully change that though :)

Yep Servo, I'll be there. Probably on Saturday, but I'm still looking for someone to go with (my friend with a pass is going with people he'd rather not have me around) so it depends on what day they can go.

I saw one at a car show six months before they came out. My first reaction was "It's a cross between an ice cream truck and a hearse".

If you had a friend who was a tightrope walker and one day you are walking down the street with him and he suddenly tripped & fell, that would be completely unacceptable.

DBCahill,

I saw the PT in Y2K at a car show (I work in the auto industry), and thought, "Who in their right mind would drive one of those?"

I forgot how many people are not in a "right mind".

I'm disgusted everytime I see a PT Cruiser...not only did the person spend a lot of money and time on a waiting list, but they think that their car looks cool. :) And I thought a station wagon with "fake wood" on the sides looked ugly...

It almost looks like something out of the 1940's! My God, the '40's can't be back in AGAIN!?!

My dad picked the PT out back in 2k (mid-life... nevermind. He works for DC so he got a discount) and I just inherited it this year.

I run Trance (the spiffy name for my PT) hard everyday. She runs great, considering I drive like your average 16 year old. It's also great, since it appears I'm the only person under 30 that would ever drive the thing. I love seeing the "double look" when driving. You know, when people pass and look at you, but then look again because of who you look like and what you're driving :)

But damn, the PT lacks in the engine department. Coming out of school today I had to give somebody a jump, and while trying to figure out how to navigate the engine bay I actually took a good look at everything... the friggin air intake box is HUGE. I've gotta get that CAI installed... Also accelration in the thing SUCKS. I mean the Neon has the exact same 2.4L 4-banger, but its much better in the XLR8 department...

I could go on, but these are the wrong forums for it ^_^

You guys would have been in for a treat back on September 28th at SFGAm. The park had a private outing sponsored by Chrysler for PT Cruiser owners. PT's from all around the midwest were in Gurnee that day trying to get into the park.
