Do you think for the 9/11 annaversry they could have the spot lights going red, white, and blue all night? I'm sure they could the question is will they?

And you can place any Momorial notes Here:

They didn't when it happened, so I don't see it happening now. I went 1-2 weeks after 9-11 last year (I have pictures of flags at half mast), and I was very disappointed that it wasn't on the Red/White/Blue scheme.

I was also there 10 days after 9/11/01 and saw a sign giving condolences, etc but everything else was decked out for Halloweekends.

I'm watching some of the ABC coverage right now and even after a year, and after the non-stop news coverage, for some reason today it's tugging a little harder on the heartstrings.

Hey, Halloweekends were instrumental in feeling normal again.

During Millennium Mania last year on the friday after the attacks, they shut down all rides to observe a moment of silence for the loss.

I believe after it happened last year they put one of those little flags that are on a stick on the handrail on top of the lift. They used more of that duct tape to hold it. I don't think it lasted long though. I remember seeing just the stick taped with no flag a few days later.

If you look at the live park cams, there is a flag flying on the beach. I don't look at the cams very often, is this new?

The flag has been there all season. I had to put it up several times, always a patriotic moment nonetheless

I thought a Momorial was something having to do with the second Sunday in May...

...which, coincidentally, is frequently Cedar Point's opening day...
