Cedar Point's website now has its HalloWeekends flash box up...it looks pretty spiffy! Especially the enhanced profile of the park.

Is it just me, or has the General Admission for HalloWeekends gone up a whole helluva lot?

Up from what? Aside from Fridays, it's the same price as any other day during the season.

Why on earth would they be offering a ride and slide? Just call it two day. ;).

In past years, wasn't general admission slightly cheaper for Halloweekends than the rest of the season?

I don't believe so. Only on Friday nights since it's only six hours and only the "main" rides are open.

Actually I just did some research at archive.org and found that since 1997, the Halloweekends Saturday and Sunday tickets have been $6 cheaper than the regular Fun Day tickets. So yes, they did jack up the price for this year.

I was surprised also when I saw the increase on the site the other night. In previous yrs,I thought it was cool to have a full 12 hrs on Saturday for a discounted price. This yr I have told several people about it not realizing is was more this year.

Maybe it was the same last yr,but not sure.

I don't think it was, because last year was the first time I ever went to HalloWeekends and I had to check all that stuff out. It definitely wasn't 39 last year...maybe 34 or 32?

It's not about me...it's about my friends that are going. Besides, what's to say I only go like once or twice a year? Not everyone lives close to the park. I like 3 hours away.
