Trains

I know this is jumping the gun a little, but what does everyone think the trains will be like? I think they will be in the shape of like Top Fuel Dragsters (like the ones seen at Norwalk Raceway)/Funycar's. I think (unfortunately) that they'll have OTSR's. And the train's will be Red White and (possibly 3rd [if 3 trains] : blue).

I highly doubt the OTSR's.

Yeah, if anything it should have lap restraints like MF.

Here's my only reason I think OTSR's, Jeff has said all along, there is one thing that enthusists are going to complain about. And I have narrowed it down to OTSR's, just because of what I think the ride will be like.

I'm pretty sure the "complaint" Jeff's been talking about is NOT OTSRs, but ride length...

The trains wont have OSTRs. That would totally ruin the ride if it did. I have a feeling the dissapointment is ride time, not length.

At Cedar Point inversions equal OSTRs there is no buts about it, so I highly doubt this coaster having anything closer to an inversion than an overbanked turn.

Plus if there were OTSRs then they would be forced closed on you during the launch, I have that problem on the ID.

What is it with you people and your absolutes?

"Cedar Point builds a major ride every other year."
"The park closes the first week of October."
"They put seatbelts on everything." (see: Chaos, Tilt-a-Whirl, etc.)
"Inversions equal OTSRs."

I swear, if you take a solid dump once does that mean you'll never have diarhea?

While I agree with Jeff above, crash said that if you have inversions then you have OSTRs (true up to now). Not if you have OSTRs you have inversions.

A case of a = b but not b = a.

Actually, p -> q, but not q -> p would be the better way to say that... ;)

I was going to post the "implies, not equals" correction too, but I decided that was too geeky even for a CS professor. Glad that others are holding the flame of truth and beauty aloft.

Actually even if they are inversions, it doesn't imply that there are OTSRs. Look at Flight of Fear, for example.

Ya not only does fof have only lap bars, but so does superdooperlooper at hersheypark. and that 1 doesnt even have shin restraints or whatever. Forget about the OTSRs.
