Your reputations precede you
Folks,
I was at WDW last week, and was wearing my CP tie dye in the Magic Kingdom. This turned out to be a conversation starter with a Splash Mountain cast member working Fastpass distribution.
His comment: "I've been to Cedar Point, and really liked it. They have good crews there---they keep people moving through those attractions."
Keep up the good work! People do notice.
I love hearing compliments like that (for Cedar Point). Except, shouldn't this be in the employee forum. I'm not even sure if we as a whole should keep up the good work or if the employees should. I'd guess employees.

Whenever I go to another amusement park (or anywhere for vacation as a matter a fact), I'm always sure to ware my cp attire. Its amazing how many people will comment, "Oh you have been to cedar point? I wanna go so bad!" Wore the stuff at Disney in 04 and Carowinds last year...people notice and recognize the good reputation that cp has.

I feel sorry for people who don't drink. When they wake up in the morning, that's as good as they're going to feel all day.
I too just returned from Disney and I thought their crews were pretty darn good. Not CP good, but they were fast and they seemed to really enjoy what they were doing (something a large margine of CP employees have been missing for a while now. :()
Universal had an awesome crew on the Hulk. Dragons was a whole different story though....

Yes it is amazing how many people will comment....I was riding Storm Runner this past summer with this lady and I had my Cedar Point shirt on and she told me how great the park was and we discussed some of the rides and how much we liked Dragster.

I wore a Banshee shirt to SFMagic Mountain last time, and I got a couple questions about "You're one of those coaster riding people aren't you?"
I always wearmy Millenium Force shirt not only to bug my friend but just to say, he Cedar Point pwns. Of course I wear it to Cedar Points favorite Ohio friend, Paramounts Kings Island. I too have been commented on the park, ussually on if I've ridden the dragster. e_e
One thing I <3 Cedar Point is the employees, except this one guy I met at wildcat. I will say that the majority of PKI employees are snobs. Not all, but most, the best crew by far is the one at the beast...

I agree. PKI is a nice little park but it is lacking the felling of fun and excitement that CP has. The employees have a lot to do with creating that feeling. You gotta love the Beast no matter what though. Its the greatest wooden coaster I have ever been on.

Dragons wasn't quite as awesome a crew, but they did have that one really really excited guy. Besides remember their uniforms? Wouldn't you be less then enthused at work if you wore a big brown mu-mu thing?
