Your first visit to CP in 2000

What will you do on your first visit in 2000 when the gates swing open? Will you rush to get in line at Millennium Force, or something else???

I will probably first go check out the Space Sprial midway with the Giant Wheel over there, and then get a birds-eye view of MF from Space Spiral. Then head over to MF...

I will be going to the Point on May 16, 2000 and will most likely head to the Mean Streak first, the Gemini second, Magnum third, Mantis fourth, take a quick lunch break..... and then enter the queue line for what I am expecting to be my new #1 ride: Millennium Force.

Of course, I could change my mind once I get there and witness the sheer immensity of MF and bolt as fast as my bad knees can carry me to the line...... which now that I start to think about it seems to be the logical thing to do!!!

I will first be in the park for training in March. But when I arrive to start work in May, the first thing I will be doing is getting in line for the MF, I think I will come into the park 15 minutes before the gate opens, so I dont have to wait in line long.

Not sure of exact date yet but plan on going to CP as soon as I can 1st week it opens. PRAYING my 10 yr old will be 54" by then so she can finally "kick the sky" with her Mom. As goofy as it sounds-I will probably ride Raptor 1st-and then head for Mantis-then ride MF...

we will be there May 15th THROUGH the 18th,(oh, FOUR glorious days) and i will PROBABLY need to ride Magnum first, just to warm up, and because it's damn hard to stay at Breakers, see Maggy out your window and NOT ride it first.

i think i will decide based on two things....which one is calling the loudest.."SEERRRVOOO...ride me first...SEERRRVVOOO..." and whether or not i am mysteriously pulled from the car on the drive down Perimeter Road, to drop to my knees and worship MF. if that happens, and it might, there will be no contest. besides, Magnum would be like a little foreplay before the big event, would it not???

RAPTOR

Millennium Force first thing. Then spend the rest of the day rideing Paddlewheel Excursions.
before finishing the night rideing Magnum XL-200. I do hope to fit a couple other rides in as well. But those three rides I think will just complete me. I LOVE YOU MAGNUM, I LOVE YOU MILLENNIUM FORCE!

Hey body, are you using "fly paper" to achieve that flight of yours? I didn't think Delbert Finestein had all the "bugs" worked out of it yet.......

Make sure to drink a "swine cooler" before you fly though!

Usually, the family comes in from different points and assembles at the Breakers until the rooms are ready.

As for me, I'll make the drive the night before and book a room at the Breakers express.

While they're gathering and waiting for their "buy one, get one free" starlight entry pass that comes with the package, I'll be spending that first entire day in the park, and very likely in the first wave for MF that day.

I can always go back and check into my Breakers room later.

Breakers or all the resorts as I understand it will not open until the same day as the park..so you can't sleep there til that night..will check into my room around the middle of the day

What? Resorts' first night will not be until Saturday? That's no good. Is it normally open beforehand? I was really hoping it would be open, at least a portion, starting Thursday for Media Day.

I guess we've got the Radisson (and about 50 other places for that matter.)
