Your first MF ride...

Spanks man! I knew what you meant, but it pays to be sure.

I'll say one more thing on the matter before this gets tossed. The Dukes were top ten in the ratings its entire run (7 seasons). The General Lee, a 69:) Dodge Charger, was and is one of the greatest muscle cars of all time. Don't believe it...Just ask around...People that know about that kind of stuff that is.

My first time on MF, well that would be June 7th, 2000 the day before i started cedar point. I had to wait till around 9 or so to get into the line, since it was down a few times during the day. Just looking at the ride comming in as i processed in was great. I never seen anything like it. So i got in line and waited at least a hour...also listing to the lazer show as well just before gettting into my seat. Well the time finially came i got in somewhere around the middle of the train. I felt a little tense. Not much, **** its only what 100 somthing feet more then magnum (which i got on the first time in 1991 and loved coasters ever since). We started up the first hill and i was like WOW...chills went down my spine and we toped the hill and from there........Pure excite ment :) ...Went to bed then woke up to my first day at work at the train hehehe right by MF :)

The first time i rode MF i loved it. When the were building it, i kept up with it, hoping that i would be able to ride it someday. after all my first roller coaster happened to be the 205ft mosnter the magnum which is one of the best out there, and after my first ride on MF i couldnt stop riding it. It practically got me hooked on CP and roller coasters, and ever since WT construction has been going on, ive kept up with that too, but WT will never beat MF no matter hwat, but i still will like both rides and hopefully if MF gets beat by another coaster, hopefully its like 400 ft tall, built by Intamin and it better be at CP

The train in front of us hit a bird... They had to clean it up at the station and we sat at the brakes for about five minutes.

Cedar Point, the cure for the Summertime blues!

I havn't rode the MF before, because I have only been to CP twice. The second time I was there no one would ride with me, and I did NOT want to ride alone.

The first time I was there, it was with a class field trip. All of my friends had been experienced coaster riders and I was virgin to them.

The first stop was ofcourse, the bathrooms :), then it was off to MF. I was shaking the whole way there, but I had the courage to get into that horribley long line. I kept on reassuring my self that I would be alright and that "It wasn't that bad".

We waited for about a good hour, watching her zoom by and go over that hill. Finally it was our turn next. My friends started to walk up to the coaster. Being the chicken I am, said that I just could not do it. So I took the long walk back down feeling let down.

Well that day, I did conqour my fear of coasters and road The Magnum, The Mean Streak, DT, The Iron Dragon, and Gemini. But it wasn't good enough.

I waited the whole summer to go back, and finally, in October we returned. I was sooo excited to ride Millie. My friend said that she would with me, but wanted to ride the Raptor first.

Well when she got off she didn't want to look at another coaster. I had to drag the girl on DT and The Iron Dragon.

Needless to say the rest of my family was not going to ride with me. My dad has the worst fear of heights, my mom rode a wooden coaster with alot of air time at Six Flags, and had enough, and my sister...well the only thing she will ride is the Raptor.

So I didn't get to ride that time, because I didn't want my first ride to be alone.

But this summer, no matter what...I will be on the MF and having the time of my life. Then i can come back and tell everyone abou my first time.

Cedar Point is the best. I will never stop loving it. You gotta, You wanna, You have to hold on...Cedar point hold on!! :) :) :)

My first ride on Millennium Force was on July 20, 2000, the day right before my 15th birthday. I went with my Aunt Dawn, Uncle Jon, and my cousin Rachel. When we first got to the park we were going to ride it first thing, but the line was backed up all the way down the Frontier Trail! We could'nt believe how long the line was, so we waited until around 9:00 PM. Since Rachel could not ride it (too young and scared to), my Uncle Jon had to stay with her....so it was just my Aunt Dawn and I. We were so scared and excited as we walked through the quene as the DJ played Britney Spear's new song, "Lucky". Whenever I hear that song, I think of my first ride on the Millennium Force. When we got up into the station and into our seats, I ws really nervous and I was like "I'm gonna die"....then one of the ride ops said "don't worry, thats why we are here"! LOL! Well, as we went up the lift, we both were yelling things like..."why the hell did we do this....etc.". Then it was too late...the BIG DROP! It was a total rush....you wanted to scream but the force just held you back. When we got off, we hardly talked...we were just in awe at of what we just experienced. We sat there by the photo shop and Rachel and my Uncle came walking up and just busted up laughing at what we looked like. To this day, the first drop is one of my biggest fear/thrill at Cedar Point...and I always will remember and enjoy the first big drop of Millennium Force! :)
